Set in 1950s French Republic, the film state the narrative of Gabrielle, a passionate, free-spirited adult female in a loveless matrimony. Constantly sickly, she travel to a spa to retrieve and fall in love with a seasoned she meet at that place. Gabrielle so hanker to liberate herself and run off with him.
