When a household of swan make their place on the Peterson farm, it’s love at first sight for 10-year-old girl Frankie. But along come no-nonsense ornithologist Ginny Newsom, who rush in to “save” the olympian bird. For Frankie’s dad doodly-squat, it’s disfavor at first sight when he meet pushful, know-it-all Ginny. Frankie and her brother are anything but impersonal perceiver as they watch the initial ill will between their widow male parent and the strong-minded Ginny transform into something else.
