In 1983 Owl, North Dakota, the life of three resident – aged Horace, who spend his afternoon reminisce in the local java store; teenage Mitch, depress backup signal caller star player-power-horse; and freshly appoint high school English language instructor Julia – along with those of the town’s other resident, are upend by a historical whiteout snowstorm.
