Aurora, a ten year old girl, is left alone after a terrifying night that she insists changed her life forever. She claims that a monster hiding beneath her bed came out and devoured her entire family, leaving her as the only survivor. Frightened and desperate, she turns to the most unlikely person for help her quiet and mysterious neighbor who secretly works as a professional hitman. At first he assumes the child is simply traumatized and imagining things, but Aurora’s fear feels too real to ignore. As he begins to protect her, strange events start unfolding around them. Soon they are hunted by a relentless group of assassins who seem determined to silence the girl before she can reveal something dangerous. Forced into a violent fight for survival, the hitman must use all his deadly skills to keep Aurora safe. Along the way he begins to question whether the girl’s story might hold some truth, and whether the world contains far more terrifying monsters than anyone is willing to believe.
