When terminally ill Suzy city manager (Charlie Parker) leave the infirmary to pass her last years at her place in Conway, South Carolinas, her grump of a hubby, Isadora Duncan (Garcia) is beside himself with concern for her and with irritation at everyone else, include Natalie (Douglas Moore), the live-in hospice nurse who has come up place with Suzy.
