Sep 1941. In a bend of event immature budgerigar Kostya and Nastya happen themselves on board of a flatboat that will evacuate people from sieged St. Petersburg. At nighttime the flatboat get into the violent storm. When it get down sinking, enemy airplane - but not savior - are the first to get at the scene.
