Set in the fictional entertainment district of Kamurocho, the series tells a gripping story that unfolds across two different timelines, 1995 and 2005. In 1995, four close friends who grew up together in a strict orphanage dream of a life beyond the limits placed on them. Eager to find freedom, excitement, and a sense of power, they step into the dangerous underworld that controls much of Kamurocho. At the time, the district is dominated by powerful yakuza organizations, and the young friends quickly become entangled in a world filled with crime, ambition, loyalty, and betrayal. A decade later, in 2005, their lives have changed dramatically. The bond that once held the friends together has begun to weaken as each of them has taken a different path in life. At the same time, tensions between two major yakuza factions, the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance, are reaching a critical breaking point. As old conflicts resurface and hidden truths from the past begin to emerge, the story explores how their shared history continues to shape their present.
