The story follows a secret group of demon hunters known as the Counters, individuals who possess extraordinary abilities that allow them to sense, track, and battle evil spirits. Although they appear to live ordinary lives, the members of this team secretly work together to protect the human world from dangerous supernatural forces. To avoid drawing attention, they disguise themselves as employees in a small noodle restaurant, using it as their hidden base of operations. From this humble location, they monitor signs of dark spiritual activity and set out on dangerous missions to capture or destroy malicious spirits that escape into the mortal world. As they confront powerful enemies and face intense battles, the Counters must also deal with their own pasts and the heavy responsibility of protecting innocent lives from unseen threats.
